UniformTax.net Website Gets a Makeover for 2014

(PRWEB) October 06, 2014

UniformTax.net, a website that was established in order to help workers in the UK navigate the tax system in regards to the uniforms and clothing they must wear as part of their job, is pleased to announce that their website has recently undergone a refresh to deliver a new, modern look to their visitors and customers.

Although this isn’t the first re-design the website has experienced, the new look and feel of the site brings it in-line with the current trends in web design, transforming a busy homepage and cluttered user experience into something with a more user focused interface.

“While we must admit our visitors don’t come to check out our great designs, logos, and copy, and that they are just coming to see how much money they can save, we still feel it’s important to provide them with a good user experience, while also presenting ourselves in a professional manner,” one of the founders of UniformTax.net explained. “So to help simplify the journey a user takes through our website, we decided to remove all the unnecessary clutter and just give them what they want,” he continued.

In this instance, giving the user what they want means moving the query form to the homepage and positioning it prominently above the fold. With easy access to the form visitors can now submit their information in order to find out if they are eligible to claim back taxes they’ve paid in previous years.

“Since revamping the website and moving the form front and center, we’ve had a great response from our visors, which is backed up by our user stats and analytics,” the in-house website designer proclaimed. “Although we are still getting visitors clicking through to the inner pages of our website, the form is definitely the reason they are coming to the UniformTax.net website, so it’s been good to see those numbers going up,” he continued.

In the past, little has been known about the uniform tax rebate scheme which allows workers who are required to wear uniforms or protective clothing as part of their job claim money back against the costs of maintaining those clothes. However, with the arrival of websites such as UniformTax.net and those like it, UK workers now have a way of discovering and finding out more about this scheme, and even simplifying the process of making a claim. While the team behind the website do profit from the role they play in the process, they are introducing workers to a scheme that they perhaps wouldn’t have otherwise been aware of.

“Until I found the website I had no idea that it was even possible for workers like me to claim back paid taxes and lower our tax bill going forward, thanks to the conditions of our jobs that require us to wear specialist clothing,” one user of the website exclaimed. “I know the people that run these websites are profiting from the service they offer, but without them I wouldn’t have even known that I could’ve saved this money so I think it’s a win-win for all involved,” he continued.

With the economy still not back to its full heath, any opportunities for workers to save money are likely to continue to rise in popularity, which can only be good news for the team behind the UniformTax.net website.
